Covid-19 Precautions

Covid-19 Precautions

We livestream our services on our YouTube channel and our Facebook page. We also upload our sermons to our website and podcast.
Sunday Gatherings
Our Sunday gathings are back inside in our normal location at 10 AM.
Community Groups
We encourage groups to be willing to make sacrifices to help as many people as possible to meet. This may include meeting outside, meeting in a larger room, asking the group to distance, being willing to facetime or zoom someone in for the group discussion, etc. As church leaders, we are not asking groups to stop meeting. We are recommending increased caution and being willing to make sacrifices to help as many people as possible be able to participate in the group.
Current precautions:
  • We encourage people to practice social distancing, hand washing, reduced face touching, and sneeze/cough in elbow.
  • Masks or face coverings are welcomed and will be available on-site.
  • We encourage increased caution, including the possibility of not attending in-person gatherings, for those who are at increased risk due to age and/or other medical conditions.
  • If you have or have had Covid symptoms, been in close proximity to someone with Covid, or tested positive, please do not attend a Sojourn event until your quarantine is fully over and you are no longer contagious.
  • We strongly encourage people with any sickness over the last three days in their household to participate online that week.

Church unity is a very big deal in the scriptures. We want to thank you for protecting our church’s unity even if you are persuaded we should have more or less precautions. Please stay connected to the church and participate in the life of the church. It is crucial for your spiritual health and the health of our church family. It takes spiritual maturity to be able to serve, participate, and engage when you do not agree with each decision. So, thank you for pursuing and protecting our church unity. If you believe that any of the cautions we are taking alienate you from being able to participate in the life of our church, please contact a pastor or email us at pastors@sojournchurch.net. We will do everything we can to help you engage meaningfully in the life of the church during this season.
